8 Good Reasons To Go Organic

“Go Organic.” This is the latest mantra on everyone’s lips. People have begun to realize the harmful effects of “pesticide-enriched” foods. At last they’ve woken up to the fact that pesticide residues stick to the skins of the fruits and vegetables and pass into the stomach. These pesticides have been linked to obesity, cancer, Alzheimer’s, and certain birth defects.
This is not all. There are more reasons to abandon your local grocery store and go organic.
8 Reasons to go organic now:
- A non-organic fruit has an average of 20 pesticides in it.
- Along with the farm and dairy products that you take, you also ingest drugs, growth hormones, and chemicals given to the animals.
- Organic food has a high content of minerals, vitamins, and fiber. It retains this high content of nutrients for a longer time.
- Taking in high levels of nutrients increases the resistance power of your body and keeps diseases at bay.
- You feel more energetic, as organic food has lower toxin and chemical levels that causes lethargy.
- Organic farms make efficient use of water resources and do not percolate pollutants and nitrogen from their soil.
- Organic producers have to meet strict industry standards before their produce is approved for marketing.
- Organic food tastes better than non-organic food.
